The speakers for the programme were from the RMP, MHA, the Prisons Department, academicians, US Media practitioners and SEARCCT officers. The main highlight of the programme was the discussion between experts and participants on reporting and writing news articles pertaining to terrorism, which can be used as a tool to counter terrorist propaganda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"760\" height=\"495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/8.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4022\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/8.jpg 760w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/8-300x195.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A total of 32 media practitioners participated in the workshop. Apart from lectures and forums, they were also given the opportunity to experience the impact of blasts through demonstrations of explosives, fully controlled by the Royal Malaysia Police.
