It was the first programme for SEARCCT in 2019. The workshop was attended by 36 participants, consisting of staff and officers from Royal Malaysia Police (RMP), The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Attorney-General\u2019s Chambers of Malaysia (AGC) and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"635\" height=\"424\" src=\"https:\/\/www.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Cyber-Investigation-In-Terrorism-Cases-Introductory-Level-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-903\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Cyber-Investigation-In-Terrorism-Cases-Introductory-Level-2.jpg 635w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Cyber-Investigation-In-Terrorism-Cases-Introductory-Level-2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Deputy Director-General I of SEARCCT, Amb. Khairi bin Omar, officiated the 2-day programme. With\nthe aim to provide exposure and understanding of cyber threats that could threaten\nthe security of critical sectors in the country to the officers and staff\nworking in the sector, SEARCCT\u2019s local trainers were engaged from the Royal\nMalaysia Police, Attorney-General\u2019s Chambers of Malaysia and CyberSecurity\nMalaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop briefed participants on various investigation technique and procedure in cyber world. Participants were separated into four groups and were given different task for each group. This exercise will prepare participants to communicate with various departments and provide a platform for knowledge sharing. It also helped to highlight the need for a holistic response mechanism, in the event of a possible incident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"635\" height=\"357\" src=\"https:\/\/www.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Cyber-Investigation-In-Terrorism-Cases-Introductory-Level-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-904\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>All the participants expressed their appreciation for the speakers who were knowledgeable and interesting in their presentations on technical topics.
