It witnessed the involvement of 33 participants from various relevant first responder agencies. Ms. Mazita Marzuki, Deputy Director General of SEARCCT, officiated the nine-day seminar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"635\" height=\"424\" src=\"https:\/\/www.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/CBRNE-AFRTP-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-914\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/CBRNE-AFRTP-1.jpg 635w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/CBRNE-AFRTP-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The objectives of the programme were to provide participants\nwith advanced knowledge on CBRNe\u2019s threats, as well as Malaysia\u2019s CBRNe Model\nof multi-agencies emergency response in handling threats. Speakers who steered\nthe workshop were SEARCCT\u2019s established local trainers from the RMP, MOH,\nMalaysia Armed Forces, Chemistry Department of Malaysia, BOMBA and Atomic\nEnergy Licensing Board (AELB). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"635\" height=\"424\" src=\"https:\/\/www.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/CBRNE-AFRTP-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-915\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme was conducted to expose participants to\nadvanced CBRNe subjects, managing post-attack situations to emergency\ndecontamination on multi-agency operations, as well as familiarise themselves\nwith CBRNe\u2019s detection equipment and procedures as first responders.
