The workshop was held at Pullman Hotel Kuching, Sarawak from 9 to 11 October 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"531\" height=\"340\" src=\"https:\/\/www.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture1.jpg\" alt=\"Picture1\" class=\"wp-image-8542\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture1.jpg 531w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture1-300x192.jpg 300w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture1-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop was aimed at creating awareness to participants on the issues of terrorism involving civil aviation and the Malaysian government&#8217;s measures to prevent it. This workshop was attended by 22 participants comprising of Malaysian civil aviation officials and private sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"531\" height=\"340\" src=\"https:\/\/www.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture2.jpg\" alt=\"Picture2\" class=\"wp-image-8543\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture2.jpg 531w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture2-300x192.jpg 300w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture2-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The speakers were established practitioners from Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia, Royal Malaysia Police, Kargo Xpress, Malaysia Airport Holdings Berhad, Malaysian Immigration Department, Royal Malaysian Customs Department and Malaysia Airlines Holdings Berhad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"362\" height=\"231\" src=\"https:\/\/www.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture3.jpg\" alt=\"Picture3\" class=\"wp-image-8544\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.567099567099567;width:534px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture3.jpg 362w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture3-300x191.jpg 300w, https:\/\/staging.searcct.gov.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/Picture3-18x12.jpg 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the three days workshop, participants were exposed to cases of aviation terrorism and preventative measures ranging from aviation legal frameworks, internal procedures of aircraft companies, Malaysia government civil aviation responses and Table Top Exercise (TTX).
