On April 4, 2024, the Director-General of the Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT), YBhg. Dato\u2019 Ganeson Sivagurunathan, along with his delegation, paid a courtesy visit to the Malaysian Institute of Defence and Security (MiDAS). The Chief Executive of MiDAS, Major General Dato’ Hj Ya’cob bin Hj Samiran, and senior officers from MiDAS warmly welcomed the SEARCCT delegation. This visit represents a significant milestone in advancing the partnership and fostering collaboration between the two agencies in the vital domains of countering terrorism and preventing and countering violent extremism (PCVE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
