The session was conducted by Mr. Kennimrod Sariburaja, Director of the Research and Publications Division at SEARCCT, and attended by 116 trainees. The lecture provided an introduction to terrorism and counter-terrorism in Malaysia, with a strong emphasis on the role of youth in maintaining peace and security within the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Designed to equip trainees with a fundamental understanding of terrorism and violent extremism, the session explored the historical context, root causes, and socio-political impacts of extremist ideologies. By fostering critical thinking and awareness, the lecture aimed to empower participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, resist, and counter radical narratives.
